Software Engineer (Software Integrator) Intern [IDA:00070]
Summary
Intern on Aumovio's R&D innovation team in Singapore, developing software applications, APIs, and rapid prototypes for automotive system solutions — implementing, testing, deploying prototypes, and integrating demonstrators into a demo vehicle. Core stack: Python, C/C++, sensors, middleware (DDS, MQTT, ROS), Git, Docker.
As a team member of Innovation team, you will be involved in the software development of innovative system solutions.
Intern would be working together with the R&D innovation team in the following tasks:
a) Work with R&D team to develop software applications and necessary APIs.
b) Work on some rapid prototype developments when required.
c) Involve in implement, test and deploy prototype to ready solutions.
d) Involve in identifying possible solutions and diagnostics for troubleshooting.
e) Conduct site survey, collect data and perform test procedures.
f) Integrate and/or implement solution as a demonstrator or solution deployed in our demo vehicle.
a) Strong coding skills and demonstrable programming aptitude in Python and C/C++
b) Experience in any sensors (e.g. Camera, Radar, RGBD, UWB) technologies.
c) Experience in middleware technologies such as DDS, MQTT, ROS 1 / ROS 2
d) Experience with Git, Docker, working in Linux & Windows
e) Knowledge of object detection, tracking and identification will be an advantage
f) Knowledge of deep learning tech and tools (Tensorflow, Pytorch) will be an advantage
g) Knowledge of professional software engineering including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, will be an advantage
