Software Engineer

Software Engineer – Java/Python & AI

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, enterprise application development, and AI-assisted software engineering.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a large enterprise/corporate environment.
• 3+ years Java development experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• 2+ years Python development experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools/frameworks such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor AI, LangChain, Spring AI, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in system design, application development, testing, and production support/stability.
• Strong SQL/database experience including stored procedures, views, and query optimization.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, resiliency, and security practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Demonstrated understanding of Responsible AI, including secure handling of AI inputs/outputs and validation of AI-generated code.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while critically reviewing generated outputs.

Education – Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent engineering discipline; OR
• Formal software engineering certification from a recognized organization such as Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, or equivalent for candidates without a relevant engineering degree.

Preferred:

• React, Angular, or other modern frontend technologies.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience in Payments, CIB, banking, or regulated financial services.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data platforms.
