SSW is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer at our awesome Newcastle office for an immediate start
This role requires great communication skills and solid experience in delivering production-ready web solutions. Further, we encourage you to take ownership of your relationship with clients and build meaningful connections, to think critically, and create the right solution for the right job.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week
Salary: $79,000 - $89,000 plus 12% superannuation
About you:
Proven commercial experience with .NET web development
The right to live and work in Australia (Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
An IT degree plus 1 year of full-time work experience, or at least 2 years of equivalent experience.
The ability to converse and interact professionally and comfortably with clients and colleagues
Keen interest in the development community, including technological trends, news, people, and innovations

Frontend – JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Blazor

As a full-stack engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
Conducting research, consulting, and analyzing system program requirements to identify improvements.
Identifying technology constraints and shortcomings in current systems, processes, procedures, and methodologies.
Testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving errors in application programming, following established protocols and quality standards to ensure optimal performance.
Developing and maintaining program code to fulfill system specifications, designs, and technical requirements, while adhering to quality standards.
Writing, updating, and managing technical documentation for both programs and end-users, as well as operational procedures.
Offering expertise and advice on developing proposals and strategies related to software design, including financial assessments and cost analysis for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
