Summary
Remote contract full-stack engineer at Stranta Digital building web apps, SaaS platforms, backend services, and APIs on paid software development assignments. Day-to-day work spans React/Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js/Python (FastAPI) backends, and PostgreSQL/SQL databases.
Compensation: $90k – $140k • No equity

We are seeking a reliable Full-Stack Software Engineer to work directly with our engineering team on paid software development assignments. This is a remote contract position with the possibility of continued work across additional projects based on performance, technical fit, availability, and project demand.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications
- Develop responsive frontend features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web technologies
- Build backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
- Design and work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other databases
- Integrate authentication systems, third-party APIs, cloud services, and external platforms
- Review existing codebases and implement new modules and features
- Diagnose and resolve application, API, database, and deployment issues
- Write clean, maintainable, tested, and documented code
- Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and delivery estimates clearly
- Collaborate with a distributed engineering team during agreed overlap hours
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of professional full-stack software development experience
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Professional experience with React or Next.js
- Backend experience with Node.js, Python, FastAPI, Express, NestJS, Django, or comparable technologies
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Comfortable using Git and GitHub in a team environment
- Ability to take ownership of assigned features from planning through deployment
- Strong written communication and dependable availability
- Ability to provide examples of software that you personally helped build

- Docker and CI/CD
- AWS, Azure, GCP, or Vercel
- AI integrations using OpenAI or other language-model APIs
