SOFTWARE ENGINEER
About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join Supercomal Medical Products Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems that support our medical products and services. You will be instrumental in driving technological innovation within our organisation and ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. What you'll be doing
Design, develop, and test software applications and systems using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Identify, investigate, and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner
Contribute to the documentation of software architecture, design decisions, and system specifications
Collaborate on the integration of software components and ensure seamless communication between different system modules
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance software development processes
Participate in agile development practices including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Support the deployment and maintenance of software applications in production environments
Support maintenance and improvement of production Excel/DHR systems.
Support development ,testing .troubleshooting and documentation of digitalized process/QMS applications.
Assist in Microsoft Power Platform system development and maintenance
Progressively support Process Engineering activities including process documentation ,MI ,system/process validation and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar software development role, with a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Platform ,Power Apps, Power Automate ,SharePoint and manufacturing/QMS system
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and architectural concepts
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and experience with automated testing frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical challenges
Strong logical thinking,troubleshooting and documentation of didgitalized process /QMS applications
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology sector is desirable but not essential
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools is advantageous
