Job Description:
We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Developer Platforms to help design and build the internal tools, services, and platform capabilities that power future-state architecture across engineering teams.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex platform challenges, building reliable backend systems, creating intuitive user experiences, and working with modern AI-driven engineering practices.
What you’ll do:
- Design, build, and maintain internal tooling that supports strategic architecture and platform initiatives
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java
- Work with PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources, with a focus on strong data modelling and query performance
- Build and improve web UI components that enable smooth workflows for architects and engineering teams
- Apply agentic engineering practices to orchestrate autonomous AI agents for software build, test, and deployment use cases
- Implement robust integration patterns, including MCP, tool/function calling, and API-based connectivity
- Partner with architects, platform engineers, and stakeholders to translate business and architecture needs into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions meet high standards for security, resilience, performance, observability, testing, and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, code reviews, and operational support for live services
What you’ll bring:
- Strong software engineering skills in Node.js and/or Java
- Solid experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Understanding of agentic application engineering and orchestration of AI agents
- Knowledge of integration patterns such as MCP, tool/function calling, and API design
- A strong production engineering mindset with focus on reliability, security, and automation
- Ability to contribute to solution design and internal platform architecture
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders
