Summary
Software Engineer (Journeyman) providing SETA support to the DoD in Hanover, MD: designing, developing, installing, and testing software solutions in compliance with DoD coding standards. Requires 6+ years of DoD software engineering experience and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER, JOURNEYMAN
The company is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and install software solutions.
Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.
Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, information systems, software engineering, or computer programming degree preferred).
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a software engineer within the DoD environment (preferred degree post-secondary education may be substituted for 1 year of experience. 2 years of industry experience may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 3 years)
SECURITY CLEARANCE
· Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required (Poly may be required)
TRAVEL
· Some travel may be required.
