Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead solution architecture, system design and integration with external systems.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop clean, secure and maintainable code, and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements to enhance system reliability.
- Promote engineering best practices, modern technologies and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant software development experience.
- Hands-on professional experience in either Go or .NET (C#) is mandatory. Candidates with experience in both technologies will have a strong advantage.
- Experience in system architecture, application design and system integration.
- Experience leading technical implementation and delivering enterprise software solutions.
- Experience developing cloud-based applications and working with CI/CD practices.
- Strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript, Angular and/or ReactJS.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform or other cloud technologies.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SHIP-HATS.
- Experience with Singapore Government Tech Stack products such as APEX and Cloud File Transfer (CFT).
