Software Engineer Technical Lead

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with 5 years of experience to transform an existing technology product into a secure, scalable, commercial SaaS platform. We need a software/product engineer who can personally code, understand an existing system, improve its architecture. Ideal candidates will be from a startup, SaaS, FinTech, AI, data platform, or other technology product company. This is not an IT support, infrastructure support, or corporate IT manager role.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands-on Python / Full-Stack Engineer with proven experience in SaaS architecture, AWS, and production deployment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of an existing product, enhance its technical capabilities, and drive its technical readiness for commercialization.

This is an immediate requirement. Only candidates currently based in the UAE who are available to join immediately will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Write, Review, develop, and optimize existing code and architecture.
• Understand an unfamiliar existing codebase.
• Build and scale backend services, APIs, and full-stack applications.
• Manage AWS deployments, databases, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement secure authentication, permissions, and multi-user data isolation.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs and ensure production readiness.
• Deploy and manage production systems

Requirements

• Strong Python backend and full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, APIs, and Git/CI/CD.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience building or scaling SaaS products and deploying production systems.
• Strong understanding of AI Tools and the ability to use them in coding.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take end-to-end technical ownership.
• Educational degree in the IT or Computer Science fields.
