Located central to cafes, restaurants and walking distance to trains, buses and the City Cat, we are currently seeking a Software Engineer with extensive experience building custom Linux based systems for embedded products. This is an integral role and you will be accountable for:
Building custom Linux based systems for embedded products.
Developing and documenting software design and requirements.
Writing, modifying and debugging software.
Maintaining and supporting existing software on demand.
Skills & Experience:
Experience building custom Linux based systems for embedded products.
Experience developing and supporting real-time embedded systems in an embedded Linux environment.
5 + years current C/C++ experience with above average coding skills.
Sound experience in programming real-time applications.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented individual who can work well under pressure.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Linux kernel and device-driver development.
Knowledge of hardware and low-level development.
Qualifications:
Software Engineering Degree or Equivalent
