We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer - Java and Dot Net Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based and Dot Net-based applications that are high-volume, low-latency, and mission-critical. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Participate in software and architectural development activities.
- Ensure designs follow specifications and industry best practices.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Implement and maintain automated testing and continuous integration processes.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Report on project status, technical issues, and team performance to management.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven hands-on software development experience in Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 or higher.
- Knowledge in .NET/NET Core will be the advantage
- Familiar with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Proficient in working with databases such as MSSQL.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular/React).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
