Software Engineer (TypeScript/React)
Summary
Software Engineer migrating a legacy C# WPF system to React/TypeScript, working on real-time systems with large datasets in a small, growing team based fully onsite in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Salary: £70,000 - 150,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for candidates who can work fully office-based, 5 days a week in Lafayette, Louisiana.
- We cannot offer visa sponsorship, so applicants must have full working rights in the US.
- We require candidates to already live in the US, although we do offer full relocation support.
- We are looking for commercial experience working with TypeScript, ideally in a React environment.
- We value secondary experience with C# .Net, either .Net Core or WPF/MVVM.
- Experience with other modern web frameworks such as Angular, Vue or Blazor would be beneficial.
- We require cloud knowledge; Azure, AWS or GCP are all acceptable.
- We ideally want a strong working knowledge of REST APIs, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Terraform.
- A degree in a STEM discipline would be ideal, though it is not essential.
- We are hiring Software Engineers to join our engineering team in Lafayette.
- We need engineers to work on the migration of a core legacy system from C# WPF into React/TypeScript.
- We want developers who can understand the legacy product while focusing primarily on newer front-end development.
