Role Purpose
As a Mendix Software Engineer at the company, you will become part of a young and dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Mendix platform
- Take technical ownership of a flagship application
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and debugging
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Document application designs, processes, and technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers
- Contribute to the company’s internal Mendix Framework by improving and upholding best practices
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in software development with proven hands‑on experience on the Mendix platform
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, development standards, and best practices
- Experience in Agile development environments
- Experience in an international or multi‑cultural corporate environment is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business & IT, or a related field
- Mendix Advanced certification, or willingness and motivation to obtain it in the near future
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Mendix Cloud
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or other relevant programming languages is a plus
- Strong technical skills in application development, support, and maintenance
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch
