### **Let's introduce ourselves** We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team working within Board Support Packages (BSP) and Android-based embedded platforms in our Head Unit Platform organization. **About the role** In this role, you will contribute to maintaining and evolving the software platform through baseline updates, Android upgrades, service integrations, and board bring-up activities. You will work in a technically complex environment with close collaboration across software, hardware, integration, and platform teams. ### **What you'll do** In this role, you will contribute to maintaining and evolving the software platform through baseline updates, Android upgrades, service integrations, and board bring-up activities. Main responsibilities - Perform and integrate Qualcomm baseline updates - Manage and integrate Google Automotive Services (GAS) updates - Support and execute Android platform uplifts and version upgrades - Perform board bring-up and support hardware/software integration - Maintain and update software manifests and platform configurations - Troubleshoot integration, build, and platform-related issues - Support continuous integration and automation of development workflows - Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners ### **What you'll bring** We are looking for someone with experience in embedded software and Android platform development, including: - Strong knowledge of Git and Gerrit - Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD environments - Programming and scripting experience in C, C++, and Python - Experience with Android platform development and integration - Knowledge of software manifests and multi-repository source management - Experience with Qualcomm-based platforms is highly desirable - Experience with Airflow and Grafana is an advantage - Understanding of board bring-up and low-level embedded software integration #LI-DNI #LI-DNP
