Software Engineer – Web
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer – Web to join our engineering team at 2Base Technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing web applications and APIs under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to feature development, debugging, and code quality. You will work across frontend, backend, and databases while following structured engineering practices.
This role is focused on hands-on development, learning, and consistent delivery within a team environment, with opportunities to grow into higher ownership roles
You will contribute to building high-quality, scalable digital solutions for global clients while continuously improving your technical capabilities.
Responsibilities :
Application Development & Delivery
- Deliver assigned modules/features with acceptable code quality and review readiness
- Build APIs/UI components aligned to project requirements and engineering standards
- Resolve defects within the expected turnaround time
- Contribute to documentation, estimation inputs, and testability of features
- Work effectively within sprint/release timelines and team review cycles
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with senior developers, architects, and project managers
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and QA teams for smooth delivery
- Follow Git workflows (branching, pull requests, reviews)
- Participate in sprint activities (standups, planning, retrospectives)
Quality & Engineering Practices :
- Write and maintain unit tests and basic integration tests
- Debug and resolve issues during development and testing phases
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and basic security standards.
Learning & Skill Development :
- Stay updated with modern web technologies and frameworks
- Continuously improve technical skills
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in web application development
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
- Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and tools
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Technical Skills
Backend Development
- Experience in at least one backend technology:
- PHP / Python / Node.js
- REST API development
Frontend Development
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Databases
- MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases
Development Tools
- Git version control
- Basic CI/CD exposure
Experience and Education
Experience:
1–3 years in software/web development
Education:
B.Tech / BE (Computer Science / IT / EC)
MCA
MSc Computer Science
