Software Engineer, Web and Business Systems
Salary: ₱35,000 – ₱52,500 per month
Sparc Properties and Realty Corporation runs its own software team, building and maintaining the systems our clients depend on. The portfolio covers tenant and property platforms, ERP customizations, corporate websites, and internal business tools. Because we deliver for several clients at once, the work varies in shape and scale.
As a Software Engineer, you will work across that portfolio under the direction of our Lead Software Engineer, who reviews every pull request that goes into our codebases. Expect detailed feedback early on, and expect it to lighten as you find your footing. You will own your work from the point you pick up a requirement to the moment the deployment lands in production, so you will see how a change behaves once real users touch it.
Responsibilities
Implement features and defect fixes across the in-house software portfolio, and write unit tests covering new functionality.
Open pull requests, respond to review feedback, and carry changes through to merge.
Deploy releases within approved change windows, monitor for errors, and execute rollback where verification fails.
Maintain technical documentation, API contracts, and runbooks for work you deliver.
Work with client teams and business users to clarify requirements and validate delivered functionality.
Support investigation of escalated application issues alongside the Lead Software Engineer.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#. Academic, internship, freelance, or personal project work qualifies.
Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
Experience with version control using Git.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with React or Next.js.
Experience with Python in a web or ERP context, such as Odoo, Django, or Flask.
Experience with a headless content management system such as Payload CMS.
Experience with Docker, Linux, or CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to read, trace, and modify code in a codebase you did not write.
Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation and requirements discussion.
