Software Engineer – Web (React, TypeScript & Python) | F-1 OPT / STEM OPT
Location: Onshore / United States Engagement: Contract Work Authorization: F-1 OPT / STEM OPT candidates may apply, subject to eligibility and engagement requirements.
Role Summary We are looking for a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in full-stack web development using React, TypeScript, and Python. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining web applications, implementing new features, troubleshooting issues, and supporting application reliability in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
- Implement features from design through deployment.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve application issues.
- Support application performance and reliability in a live clinical environment.
- Collaborate with product, design, infrastructure, and technical teams.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to support development, code reviews, and testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering or full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Python backend development and APIs.
- Understanding of browser-based applications and web technologies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage development tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
- Healthcare or clinical application development experience.
- Experience troubleshooting production applications.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be located in the United States.
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization under F-1 OPT or STEM OPT.
- Must be comfortable with the contract engagement terms.
- Must be available to collaborate with U.S.-based teams during business hours.
