Software Engineer
Salary: ₱45,000 – ₱55,000 per month
About the role
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software features and applications based on agreed requirements. You will write clean, secure, and well-documented code that follows team standards, fix bugs and resolve technical issues, and deliver assigned tasks on time.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software features and applications based on agreed requirements
Write clean, secure, and well-documented code that follows team standards
Fix bugs and resolve technical issues, including production issues when needed
Give estimates for assigned tasks and deliver them on time
Test own work before handover (unit tests, manual checks, and basic regression)
Take part in code reviews, and act on review feedback
Support UAT by fixing issues found by testers and clients
Deploy and release code to development, staging, and production environments, following the agreed process
Use version control and CI/CD pipelines properly (branches, pull requests, builds)
Help monitor applications and respond to incidents, including after-hours support for critical issues when agreed with the Company
About you
Follow safe practices for servers, cloud services, and credentials
Work with the Team Lead, Project Manager, and teammates to understand requirements and priorities
Give regular progress updates, and raise risks and blockers early
Join team and client meetings when needed, and explain technical matters in simple terms
Share knowledge and help teammates where possible
Keep technical documentation up to date (setup, design notes, handover)
Protect client data, source code, credentials, and Company systems
Follow Company policies on confidentiality, data protection, and intellectual property
Report security incidents or suspected breaches immediately
Keep up with relevant technologies and suggest improvements
