Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who combines strong engineering fundamentals with product thinking, problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership.

Our team uses AI extensively in software development, so we are looking for someone who can use AI tools effectively while still applying strong technical judgment to review, test, debug, and improve the final solution.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and translate them into practical product and technical solutions.

• Design and develop reliable applications, APIs, data models, and system workflows.

• Use AI coding tools/agents to support development and improve delivery speed.

• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, databases, integrations, and production environments.

• Own projects from discovery and development through deployment, user adoption, and improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and technical judgment.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good understanding of APIs, databases/SQL, frontend and backend architecture, authentication, testing, and system design.

• Strong product mindset and willingness to work directly with users.

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools, or strong willingness to adopt them.

• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects end-to-end.

• Fast learner with good communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiar or have experience in TypeScript, Next.js, React / React Native / Expo, NestJS, MySQL / SQLite, Drizzle / Sequelize, AWS, Docker, and GitHub.

• Strong fundamentals, ownership, product judgment, and the ability to learn quickly
