Software Engineer

You will write code, analyze data, and help design and implement applications. You will build scalable, functional systems, review code, refine user stories with the product owner, monitor and maintain system performance, document procedures, guide junior developers, and participate in Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Write code, analyze data, and contribute to application design and implementation
• Build scalable, functional applications that meet specifications
• Perform code reviews and assure process adherence
• Analyze and contribute to user stories with the product owner
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations
• Train and guide junior developers and new hires on company frameworks
• Draft application operating procedures and technical documentation
• Set team goals and cascade individual objectives as required
• Participate actively in Scrum processes

Requirements

• Experience building payment systems, including ISO8583/ISO22022 and card transaction processing flows
• Experience building backend systems that process millions of transactions or requests at scale
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices for high-throughput, low-latency message processing
• Experience developing scalable enterprise backend APIs with security, reliability, and resilience practices
• Deep knowledge of .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, Kafka, Redis, and SQL Server
• Knowledge of Golang is optional
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects while working within a team
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle, payments, banking, and IT infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in a software-development-related field
• At least 5 years of related software development experience
