Software Engineering Manager

We invite you to join our team as a Software Engineering Manager. In this role, you will support and guide 2–3 software engineering teams, ensuring they remain motivated, well‑staffed, and aligned with company goals, while maintaining high technical standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has a proven track record in recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing engineering talent, with experience in team development and mentorship
- Is well‑versed in Agile methodologies and can support teams in adopting best practices and refining their workflows
- Brings a background in software development, with strong technical expertise
- Understands the importance of quality standards and regulatory requirements
We Also Believe You Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer
- Master’s or PhD in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience
Additional Requirements
This position requires a European citizenship and occasional travelling within and outside Sweden.
This position requires a background control and security interview before employment.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and onboarding new engineering talent and supporting their integration into the team; providing training, coaching, and mentorship to help team members develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Fostering a positive team culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and trust, creating an environment where team members feel empowered and motivated.
- Supporting and coaching teams in Agile methodologies, helping them to adopt best practices and continually improve their workflows.
- Providing technical guidance and expertise to the engineering teams; staying up to date with industry trends and best practices, and reviewing technical designs and solutions.
- Ensuring that engineering deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures as needed.
- Handling escalations and critical incidents effectively, providing leadership and support to the engineering team to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Contributing to strategic planning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations on technology trends, market opportunities, and product innovation to support business growth and competitiveness.

Location
