About the Role
Vethan Concepts Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead its software engineering and technology development team.
The role requires strong experience across software engineering, full-stack development, software architecture, IT management, project management, data management, mobile application development, and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software engineers and development teams.
- Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design, review, and implement scalable software architecture.
- Oversee web, mobile, backend, database, and API development.
- Manage software projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Establish and maintain software development and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
- Ensure proper testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and deployment.
- Oversee data management, database performance, security, and integrity.
- Drive system integration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the CTO and management on technology strategy and execution.
- Mentor developers and ensure high technical and professional standards across the engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant software engineering experience, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience.
- Proven experience in software architecture and system design.
- Practical mobile application development experience.
- Strong data management and database experience.
- Proven IT and project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, software testing, debugging, and quality control processes.
- Experience managing and mentoring software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, version control, and deployment processes.
- Ability to combine technical leadership, project management, and hands-on engineering expertise.
