Job Description and Requirements:
The Synopsys Central Engineering team is tasked to digitize Synopsys product development activities. We will achieve it by identifying areas of improvement and correlating various aspects of the product development and providing all levels of management visibility for action. The domain areas we are focused on relate to Quality, Productivity, and Operational Efficiency.
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will contribute to analyzing large-scaled big data based on our next-generation Data Platform on Snowflake and toolset.
The Data Analyst role involves conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and designments, from Data to Visualization.
You will interact with Data Engineer to transform data into information, and information into insights. You will also be responsible for developing, troubleshooting, or debugging software programs, which are related to data processing.
This is a hands-on role, and you are joining the team near the beginning of our journey where you can help shape our way to build the data analyzing system.
Requirements:
Must have Relevant experience in enterprise application software development. Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Must be detailed-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and reliable solution development.
Experience on development of complex software projects and familiar with Python coding, or experience on one of Perl/Shell languages, familiar with Linux development environment is preferred.
Proficiency in advanced SQL scripting, query optimization. Familiar with databases, like Oracle DB/MySQL/SQLite/MongoDB/Influx DB etc.
Experience in ELT (Extract-Load-Transform) process with hands-on experience on Data Lakehouse, such as Snowflake. Experience in DBT, Airflow tools will be a big plus.
Knowledge and experience of Data Visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI is a big plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication, work autonomously, and have proven organizational and planning skills.
Fluent spoken English is a big plus.
Experience in cross-teams collaboration, especially working with different internal stakeholders, etc.
Typically requires 1~ 3 years of related experience.
