Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features and enhancements for the travel platform.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and promoting code quality.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection for new projects.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), including design and optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, comfortable with both remote collaboration and on-site team interactions.
