Build AI-powered applications from the ground up within a newly established AI Engineering team at a leading global hedge fund.
We are looking for a strong Python Engineer who embraces AI-assisted development and enjoys taking full ownership of greenfield projects.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and automation tools across Trading, Compliance and Operations.
- Own the full development lifecycle, from stakeholder discussions and architecture to production deployment.
- Build scalable backend applications and integrate LLMs, AI agents and modern development tools.
- Work on high-impact projects with significant autonomy and direct business exposure.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python, Django, SQL and AWS experience.
- Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD and modern cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
- Exposure to React, TypeScript, RAG or LLM integrations is advantageous.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, independent problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
