We are looking for a Software Factory Architect to join our international team and contribute to the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise integration and software architecture solutions within European institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and lead enterprise-wide software architecture and integration strategies aligned with business objectives.
Act as the lead architect for enterprise integration platform implementations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Design and govern API-based and data integration architectures across complex enterprise ecosystems.
Define and implement enterprise integration platforms, connectors, service buses, integration flows, and reusable services.
Plan integration platform capacity, scalability, resilience, and security to support mission-critical systems.
Apply industry-standard integration patterns, architectural models, and best practices across enterprise solutions.
Design cloud, hybrid, and on-premises integration architectures leveraging serverless and containerized technologies.
Define software architecture standards throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and promote DevSecOps practices.
Design enterprise applications using UML and system modelling techniques.
Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, solution blueprints, and governance artifacts.
Work with enterprise architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent.
Align software architecture decisions with business requirements and long-term digital transformation strategies.
Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and integration platforms to ensure optimal architectural solutions.
Promote architecture governance using recognized enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or similar methodologies.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
Key Requirements
EQF 6 education level.
English C1 (certificate required).
5+ years of relevant IT professional experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Architecture, Software Architecture, or Software Factory Architect roles.
Proven experience acting as lead architect in at least one enterprise-wide integration platform deployment.
Expert knowledge of API integration, data integration, and enterprise integration architecture.
Extensive experience designing enterprise integration platforms, connectors, integration flows, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions.
Strong expertise in integration platform capacity planning, performance optimization, and security.
Excellent understanding of enterprise integration patterns, standards, and architectural models.
Practical experience with serverless computing and containerization technologies in cloud and on-premises environments.
Strong technical knowledge of integration platforms such as Tibco, MuleSoft, SOA architectures, databases, application servers, middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence concepts, and enterprise systems integration.
Sound knowledge of UML modelling and enterprise application design.
Practical understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery.
Extensive experience aligning software architecture with business objectives.
Experience using enterprise modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks including TOGAF, Zachman Framework, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or similar.
Strong understanding of hybrid systems and enterprise application integration.
