Software/Firmware Test Engineer – AI Data Center Power Systems (軟韌體測試工程師 – AI資料中心電源產品)

Job Responsibilities
1. Functional Testing
o Perform hardware and firmware functional validation for AI data center power products, including PSU/BBU/CBU shelves.
o Validate system-level integration covering shelf controllers and rack controllers.
o Develop and execute test plans and test reports.
2. Product Calibration
o Conduct calibration and tuning for power-related systems (PSU, BBU, CBU).
o Ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with product specifications.
o Work with design teams to optimize calibration procedures and manufacturing yield.
3. Communication & Platform Testing (PMC / OpenBMC)
o Perform communication protocol testing for PMC (Power Management Controller).
o Validate PMC functionality running on the OpenBMC platform.
o Verify communication interfaces between PMC, shelf controller, and rack controller (e.g., I2C, CAN, RS485, Ethernet, and network-based protocols).
o Analyze communication logs and diagnose protocol-related issues.

4. Automation & Documentation
o Collaborate with R&D teams to drive issue resolution and verify fixes.
o Develop and maintain automated test scripts/tools (e.g., Python, LabView, etc.) to improve test efficiency.
o Document test procedures, test reports, and support continuous test improvement.

Qualifications (optional but recommended)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience in power electronics, data center systems, or embedded systems is a plus
• Familiarity with testing tools, scripting (Python, etc.), and lab instruments
• Strong communication skills
