Software Implementation Engineer AutoStore

Implement and troubleshoot warehouse automation software (Kardex WES) integrating AutoStore with customer systems, providing on-site support and training across APAC.
Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. Growing fast in APAC, and we’re looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to join our Sydney team. This role blends warehouse automation, backend configuration/debugging/development, support and customer-facing project work.
Your tasks
What You’ll Do
- Configure, deploy & implement our Kardex Warehouse Execution Software (WES)
- Debug across databases, APIs, microservices & middleware
- Analyse logs (Apache log4j) and troubleshoot issues
- Work with automated system such as AutoStore and more + customer WMS/ERP integrations
- Train customers & provide Level 3 software support
- Lead on site software integration activities collaborating with commissioning engineers and customer
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
Tech Stack & Skills
- Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Messaging: RabbitMQ basics
- Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, Java Spark
- Debugging: Microservice layers, Apache log4j
- Bonus: .NET / C#, Python scripting, Power BI
- 3+ years in software deployment, integration, or automation systems
