SOFTWARE PROGRAMMER
Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 per month
About the role
Responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and improving software applications and systems to support the company's business operations. The role involves writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with relevant teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to business and operational requirements.
Write, review, and debug code to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance.
Analyse system requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs, system errors, and technical issues.
Maintain and enhance existing applications, systems, and databases.
Develop and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and user guides.
Collaborate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
Conduct software testing and implement improvements to ensure system quality and security.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and usability.
Keep up to date with programming languages, development tools, and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in software development or programming is preferred.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and software development principles.
Familiarity with debugging, software testing, and version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.
