Software Project Development Manager
Salary: $5,500 – $7,500 per month

Adactive Asia is seeking a skilled and experienced Software Project Development Manager to join our team in the Central Region on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a vital role in driving the successful delivery of software development projects within our organisation. As Software Project Development Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of software development initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive advantage and supporting the growth of Adactive Asia's technology capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Planning and defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams
Managing software development project budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources across multiple projects
Leading cross-functional development teams and facilitating communication between technical staff, management, and clients
Monitoring project progress against established metrics, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
Conducting regular project status reviews and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management and key stakeholders
Managing project changes and scope creep through formal change control procedures
Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
Coordinating with QA and testing teams to maintain quality standards and manage defect resolution
Facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing enhancements to project delivery methodologies
What we're looking for
Proven experience managing software development projects, ideally in an agile or hybrid development environment
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and project management frameworks
Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience with project management tools and software (such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project)
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges
Experience managing budgets and resource allocation within a technology environment
Knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, and deployment processes
Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
