Software Project Manager
Summary
The Software Project Manager will lead end-to-end software delivery projects, managing timelines, budgets, and risks while coordinating between customers and internal R&D, DevOps, and architecture teams. The role requires extensive experience in Agile methodologies and direct customer-facing project delivery.
We are looking for Software Project Manager in Petah Tikva (on-site). You will plan and run software delivery projects end-to-end - timelines, resources, budget and risk — working directly with customers and with internal R&D, DevOps and architecture teams.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and manage software development projects: scope, timelines, resources and dependencies.
- Work with R&D, DevOps, product and architecture teams to keep execution moving.
- Track and report progress in JIRA and adjacent project management tools.
- Own risks, budgets and stakeholder reporting.
- Improve project management processes and Agile practice across teams.
- Keep delivery aligned to both business goals and technical requirements.
Requirements
Must-Have Experience:
- Software project management - 5+ years. Proven ownership of software delivery projects from planning through release, including scope, schedule and resourcing.
- Agile methodologies. Practical Scrum/Kanban: sprint planning, backlog management, ceremonies, velocity and capacity, and the judgment to adapt process rather than run it by the book.
- Customer-facing delivery. Direct work with customers — status reporting, expectation and scope management, escalations, and steering conversations without an account manager in between.
- JIRA. Day-to-day ownership: boards, workflows, dashboards and reporting.
- Planning and multitasking. Timelines, resource allocation, cross-project dependency tracking, and running several projects in parallel.
- Risk, budget and stakeholder reporting. Identifying and mitigating delivery risk, tracking budget, and producing reporting stakeholders act on.
- Working with R&D, DevOps and architecture teams. Enough technical fluency to hold a real conversation about architecture, environments and release process.
Nice to Have:
- Background at a software services / outsourcing / consulting company (multi-project, multi-client delivery) rather than a single-product company — strongly preferred.
- PMP certification.
- Experience working with senior management / C-level.
- Track record of introducing or improving Agile process, not just operating it.
- Fluent in Hebrew.
