Aureum is building a CRM for real estate professionals to organize client information, manage follow-ups and keep track of important next steps.
We’re looking for curious, detail-oriented interns who want practical experience in software quality assurance and product testing. You’ll learn how to evaluate real application workflows, identify confusing behavior and turn your observations into clear, reproducible bug reports.
You’ll receive written testing instructions, reporting templates and supervisory feedback throughout the placement.
What you’ll do
- Test assigned web-app workflows, such as signup, onboarding, client records, tasks and calendar interactions.
- Compare expected behavior with what actually happens, including what persists after refreshing or reopening a record.
- Document issues with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and screenshots or short recordings.
- Identify usability problems, unclear instructions and inconsistencies between screens.
- Retest assigned issues after changes and record whether the original problem is resolved.
- Use approved test accounts and fictional data, following the provided testing boundaries.
Who we’re looking for
- Students or early-career candidates interested in QA, software products, computer science or information systems.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
- Patience to investigate an issue and reproduce it carefully.
- Willingness to ask questions, communicate blockers and apply feedback.
- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
Previous professional QA experience is not required. Familiarity with web applications, bug reporting or software development is helpful. Coding is not required for this testing-focused placement.
What you’ll learn
You’ll develop practical skills in manual testing, test-case execution, evidence collection, usability review, regression testing and communicating findings to a product team.
Schedule and structure
Testing cycles are arranged in advance, with flexibility around academic commitments. Start and end dates are agreed before the placement begins. This is a supervised learning opportunity; interns do not own production systems or release decisions.
Required testing accounts and materials are provided. There are no participation fees or required software purchases.
