Software QA Engineer
Summary
Software QA Engineer responsible for manual and automated testing of web applications and REST services, including writing test scripts, creating test plans, and defect reporting. Core technologies include Selenium, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
- You write manual and/or automated scripts based on the functional specification
- Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
- Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
- Create comprehensive test plans; execute and automate them
- Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments
- You meticulously carry out the tests developed by the project manager and the test coordinator to ensure the quality of the projects
- You detect defects and report them
- You validate the documentation
- You strictly adhere to the timetable and strictly apply the prescribed procedures
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Testing
- 1 - 3 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of different test automation framework. At least 2 years of hands on experience in one of the frameworks.
- 1 year of hands on experience in test automation with Selenium Experience in web services (REST) testing and automation including source code control and integration with test case management tools
- Strong in testing concepts and test data preparation.
- Should have at least 3 years of manual testing experience in web application and web services testing.
- Should have worked for 2 years in an Agile development environment
- Should have good analytical and problem solving skills
- Should have good oral and written communication skills"

- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
