About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and UAT testing
• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira / ClickUp
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Perform API testing using Postman / Swagger
• Use AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to improve test case creation, automation development, bug analysis, and testing efficiency
• Participate in CI/CD testing and support automated test execution within development pipelines
• Perform cross-browser, responsive, and compatibility testing across different platforms and devices
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve quality issues
• Support performance testing using tools such as JMeter or k6
• Conduct basic security validation based on OWASP testing practices
• Perform basic database validation and data integrity testing using SQL
• Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, test estimation, and release validation

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, STLC, SDLC, test design, and bug lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case development
• Good experience with API testing using Postman / Swagger
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as Jira / ClickUp
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework: Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution
• Awareness of AI-driven testing platforms such as Testim, Mabl, or Functionize
• Basic knowledge of performance testing using JMeter / k6
• Basic understanding of web application security and OWASP principles
• Basic SQL and database testing knowledge
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
