About the role
As a Software Quality Assurance (QA), you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality across our technology platform. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in maintaining product excellence and user satisfaction. You will be based in Jakarta and will work collaboratively with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects before they reach production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
Conducting manual and automated testing across various platforms and devices to identify bugs, defects and inconsistencies
Documenting and reporting defects with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce and severity levels
Collaborating closely with software developers and product teams to verify bug fixes and validate resolutions
Performing regression testing to ensure that code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
Creating and maintaining test documentation, test scripts and quality assurance procedures
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending enhancements to testing methodologies
Participating in code reviews and quality assurance discussions to support continuous improvement
Testing new features and functionality to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards
What we're looking for
Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing within an Information Technology environment
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and best practices in quality assurance
Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JIRA or similar QA platforms
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify complex issues and edge cases
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
Solid communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report findings
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with developers and product managers
Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking capabilities
Experience with performance and load testing is preferred
Knowledge of API testing and web service testing is advantageous
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is desirable
