Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester
Summary
Manual QA tester in KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur who tests websites and software systems — writing test cases/plans, running functional, regression, integration and usability tests, logging and retesting bugs, and supporting UAT. Tools include Jira/Trello, Postman, and SQL; Selenium/Cypress/Playwright automation is a plus.
Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 6,500 per month
Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing on websites and software systems
Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Identify, document, and track system bugs and issues
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing
Work closely with Developers to reproduce and resolve system issues
Retest fixed issues to ensure system stability
Review system requirements and provide feedback from a QA perspective
Prepare testing reports, bug reports, and related documentation
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required
Ensure the system meets quality standards before deployment
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Software QA, Software Testing, or a related role
Experience in OG / Online Gaming industry is preferred
Experience in Manual Testing
Familiar with Jira, Trello, or other bug tracking / project management tools
Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes
Able to write clear test cases and bug reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to identify system issues accurately
Good communication skills and able to work closely with Developers and team members
Experience with Postman or other API testing tools is an advantage
Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an added advantage
