Job Summary

The Software Regional Business Manager is responsible for accelerating NI software growth across assigned regions by connecting global strategy with regional execution. The role partners with sales, marketing, product, customer success, channel, and regional leadership teams to build pipeline, expand adoption, improve renewals, and drive measurable business outcomes across broad-base and enterprise account motions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Own and execute the regional software growth plan, translating global software strategy into local market action across territories, channels, and strategic accounts.
  • Drive software business performance through pipeline creation, conversion, adoption, renewal, expansion, and retention initiatives.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, product, customer success, channel, distributor, and regional leadership teams to align priorities and accelerate growth.
  • Enable sellers and partners with the tools, messaging, workflow understanding, and technical confidence needed to position NI software effectively.
  • Serve as the regional voice of the customer and field, bringing market feedback and execution insights back to Software BU leadership.
  • Lead through influence in a highly matrixed global organization, establishing priorities, operating cadence, success metrics, and accountability.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, sales, marketing, strategy, product management, operations management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience owning business performance, growth initiatives, strategic planning, or regional execution programs.
  • Strong ability to work across multiple functions and influence stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to use data to assess performance, identify risks, and recommend actions.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage ambiguity, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience driving software, SaaS, recurring revenue, renewal, adoption, or enterprise agreement growth motions.
  • Familiarity with NI software platforms, customer engineering workflows, AI-enabled workflows, LabVIEW+, SystemLink, or related technical software environments.
  • Experience working with regional sales teams, channel partners, distributors, or strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Proven success scaling repeatable commercial plays across territories, markets, languages, or routes to market.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex business and technical topics for field and leadership audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that connect customer needs, product strategy, commercial execution, and measurable business outcomes.
