Software Sales Consultant (Legal Technology)

We are seeking an experienced Software Sales Consultant to drive customer engagement for our legal technology solutions. The role is focused on engaging prospective law firms and legal teams, arranging and conducting product demonstrations, managing follow-ups, and progressing opportunities through trial and subscription.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective law firms, legal departments and professional users.

• Manage leads provided by the company and independently develop new sales opportunities.

• Arrange and conduct online and in-person product demonstrations.

• Understand customer requirements and demonstrate relevant product features and practical use cases.

• Manage follow-ups after demonstrations, including trials, evaluations and commercial discussions.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, demonstrations, follow-ups and sales activities.

• Attend customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, with a legal qualification or background strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in software, SaaS or technology sales, including customer engagement and product demonstrations.

• Previous experience working with or selling to the legal sector, law firms or corporate legal departments is highly desirable.

• Strong working familiarity with current generative AI and large language model (LLM) tools, including their practical use for research, drafting, analysis and productivity.

• Experience conducting software presentations, product demonstrations or solution-based sales discussions.

• Ability to manage leads and follow-ups throughout the sales process.

• Comfortable engaging with lawyers, partners, senior management and other professional users.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

• Strong commercial awareness, presentation and relationship-building skills.
