Software Section Manager (PC-based)
Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee group of software engineers in the company.
Oversee entire project allocated to the team.
Drive the team of engineers toward and in line with company goal and interest.
Contributes and grows the core team by accomplishing desired results as needed and drive team efficiencies through best practices and mentoring.
Organize staff and create work assignments and training that achieve both project objectives and promote both individual and team growth and development.
Chairs/participates in project review, development, deployment, discussion & conceptual stage.
Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Execute programs/project through proper management of budget, management of manpower and compliance to requirement and needs.
Maintain effective communication with customer and business partner.
Applicants must be willing to travel.
Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
Preferably 8 year(s) & above of experience in software engineering & knowledge in machine automation field.
Expertise in customize automation, pick and place, measurement, robotic and control system.
Good interpersonal communication skill & negotiation skills with customer and business partner.
Skill set: JavaScript, Python, C#, .Net, WPF, Ladder Logic.
