Wahl & Ross ApS is an established Danish product development company, registered under CVR no. 33069782 with offices at Nordre Fasanvej 215, 2000

Frederiksberg. We take products from early concept to manufactured reality — hardware, firmware and the software around it. We currently have between five and ten projects running in parallel, split between our own product development and work carried out for external clients across consumer, industrial and medical categories. We are a small, senior team and work in short, direct feedback loops.

The role

We are looking for an experienced software specialist to join our team in Copenhagen full time. Software and firmware is your core discipline, and you also

bring hands-on knowledge of robotics from previous work. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Software and firmware development for our embedded product platforms

• Mobile applications connecting to our devices

• Software for robotics: motion control, sensor integration and realtime behaviour

• Bring-up, debugging and testing on physical prototypes

• Technical documentation of your work

• Close collaboration with our hardware and design teams

What we are looking for

• A software specialist first: several years of documented professional experience in software and firmware development, including C/C++ on microcontrollers

• Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with robotics — control, sensors, actuators and real-time constraints

• Experience with mobile application development for iOS and/or Android, including device connectivity such as BLE

• Comfortable taking ownership of your own deliverables and deadlines

• Professional working proficiency in English

• Able to work on-site at our office in Copenhagen (Nordre Fasanvej 215, 2000 Frederiksberg) during agreed working hours

• A team player who enjoys working closely with hardware, design and mechanical engineers day to day
