Software Specialist for Audio Functionality in Automotive (m/f/d)
- Develop and integrate audio‑related software features for automotive amplifiers and audio ECUs
- Implement and optimize audio signal chains and algorithms as well as sound enhancement features
- Configure and validate audio processing pipelines (EQ, crossover, dynamics, 3D audio, ANC, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with hardware, acoustics, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
- Support OEM customer projects, including requirement analysis, feature tuning, and technical discussions
- Perform debugging, testing, and validation of audio functionality on embedded platforms
- Contribute to software architecture, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Audio Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++, Python is a plus)
- Solid understanding of audio signal processing, DSP concepts, and acoustics
- Familiarity with audio tuning tools, measurement systems, or DSP frameworks
- Experience with automotive software development (Autosar, CAN, MOST, A2B, Ethernet) is an advantage
- Experience with ARM Cortex-based SoCs and Texas Instruments (TI) microcontroller platforms is an advantage
- Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
