Software Systems Engineer - IV/Android Developer

Location: Warren, NJ

The candidate is responsible for Android framework development for Verizon in-house projects. The candidate must have depth knowledge of Android APK development. Responsible for leading project module individually with-in a team. Good communication skills and team player are the responsibilities for the proposed position.

Education Qualification: Bachelors in Engineer (CS, EE)

Experience : 6 years

Job description:
- Must have hands on experience on Android app development with library integration knowledge
- Must have worked on JNI/NDK/native level work
- Good understanding of mobile and web server communication(REST API web services, XML parsing and JASON)
- Good understanding of Activities, broadcasts, services, fragments, AsyncTask, SQLite database
- Strong app framework knowledge on android with Activity manager, window manager, content provider, view system, package manager, telephony manager, notification manager, resource manager, location manager
- Hands on experience on memory management- Data structures, Heap, Stack, GC etc
- Knowledge on Thread/Async tasks is must
- Experience on social networking SDK and FTP/SFTP services
