Software Team Lead (Full-Stack / E-Commerce)
Summary
Hands-on senior team lead who architects Evofone's new fully custom in-house e-commerce platform, writes full-stack code, integrates payments and third-party services, and builds/manages a 4-5 person engineering team. Stack spans modern frontend, Node.js/.NET/PHP/Java backends, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker and AWS.
Evofone is one of Turkey's leading online electronics retail platforms, offering a wide range of smartphones, smart home products, and lifestyle technology. We are embarking on a major digital transformation — building a fully custom, in-house e-commerce platform from the ground up.
We are seeking a Senior Software Team Lead to architect Evofone's next-generation e-commerce platform, lead the end-to-end development process, and build and manage a 4-5 person engineering team from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be writing code alongside making strategic technical decisions.

Must-Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of active development experience in e-commerce or high-traffic web platforms
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks
- Strong backend development experience in a modern server-side ecosystem such as Node.js/NestJS, C#/.NET Core, PHP (Laravel/Symfony), or Java — we care more about depth, architectural judgment, and clean design than about a specific language.
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL) and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and session management
- Experience with message queue systems (RabbitMQ or similar)
- Experience with Docker and container-based development/deployment
- Proficiency in Git and Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)
- Experience with RESTful API design and third-party service integrations
- Experience integrating payment systems (virtual POS, payment service providers)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Nice-to-Have
- E-commerce SEO optimization knowledge (SSR, Core Web Vitals)
- Experience with Couchbase or NoSQL databases
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce.
- CI/CD pipeline setup experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
