Software Test Analyst
Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution:
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
Execute manual and automated test cases to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and particularly for migration efforts across various markets.
Utilize AI-powered test management tools like JIRA Assistant to create, refine, and manage test cases efficiently, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
Conduct thorough testing of the unified journey include interface testing
Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track defects and issues using JIRA or similar defect tracking systems.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
Verify bug fixes and ensure that they do not introduce new issues.
Migration Testing:
Focus on testing migration scripts and data integrity during the transition
Work closely with relevant teams to ensure a robust and structured migration approach.
Documentation & Reporting:
Provide clear and concise documentation of test results, including test summary reports and defect reports.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal user guides and knowledge base articles related to testing processes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Operation and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure quality delivery.
Participate in meetings including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development projects, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Experience with testing large-scale enterprise applications and platforms.
Experience with migration testing and data validation.
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools.
Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and AI-powered testing solutions (e.g., Jira Assistant) advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
Proficiency in using defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
