Software Test Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Selenium WebDriver for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Develop data-driven insights by analyzing test results and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Utilize Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Playwright for automating complex workflows.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and enhance overall product quality.

Job Requirements :

• 5-8 years of experience in software testing with expertise in API testing, automation testing (Selenium), and manual testing.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript programming language and its application in automation testing.
• Experience working on JIRA-based projects or similar project management tools.
• Proficiency in Playwright framework for automating complex workflows.
• Familiarity with Cucumber for BDD is desirable.
• Experience in working with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum is preferred.
