SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare and execute software test cases and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, system and end-to-end testing.

• Test software, mobile applications, hardware and firmware across different environments.

• Identify, document and track bugs using defect tracking tools.

• Retest fixes and verify issues before release.

• Assist developers in reproducing and troubleshooting reported issues.

• Provide clear testing results, observations and defect reports.

• Work closely with QA, developers and product teams to resolve issues.

• Support testing during setup, deployment and post-deployment stages.

• Identify potential issues and suggest improvements to product quality and stability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, including SDLC and STLC.

• Hands-on experience in bug retesting, sanity testing and end-to-end testing.

• Familiar with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or Azure DevOps.

• Familiar with GitHub.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or edge cases.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• A good team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
