Software Tester
Summary
Test software quality across web and mobile, automate tests, and analyze failures using tools like JIRA, Python, and Postman.
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications
- Analyse use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including developers
- Execute all levels of testing (functional, user, integration, regression, domain, stress
- and scenario testing) depending on the software being tested
- Assist with UAT testing and training of users
- Detect, submit and test bugs
- Create and maintain documentation of test plans, reports and strategies (where necessary) to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
- Analyse test results to advise stakeholders on the current state of the system and potential corrective action

- Analyse logs and investigate the causes of failures of the live system

Qualifications
- Relevant Software Testing Certifications / Degree / Diploma
- Experience and Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Appetite to learn new technologies / processes (you'll be joining a company that is committed to using the latest available technologies)
- Team player
- Experience in the FMCG market will be an advantage
- Experience in automation testing will be an advantage
- Good understanding of Databases and SQL
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman will be an advantage
