ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our client based in Kloof is looking for an experienced Software Tester to join their growing development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting software projects while collaborating closely with developers to deliver high-quality web and mobile applications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyse software requirements and test scenarios for accuracy and feasibility
- Execute functional, regression, integration, stress, user acceptance, and scenario testing
- Identify, document, and verify software defects
- Develop and maintain test plans and testing documentation
- Analyse test results and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Perform automated testing where appropriate
- Test web and mobile applications across multiple environments
- Investigate system logs and identify root causes of software failures
- Assist with user training and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support software releases into production environments
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant Software Testing qualification, diploma, or certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Experience with SQL and database testing
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman
- Automation testing experience will be advantageous
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Kibana, Robot Framework, Python, and MySQL will be beneficial
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for learning new technologies
- A collaborative team player with exceptional attention to detail
