Role & responsibilities

• Test Planning & Design: Read project requirements and technical specs to build test cases, test scripts, and scenarios.
• Test Execution: Run manual tests (exploratory, usability) and automated tests using frameworks like Selenium or Appium.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Log defects in tracking systems, document steps to reproduce issues, and assign them to developers.
• Regression Testing: Re-test applications after code fixes to verify that new updates do not break existing features.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum workflows, and SQL for database checks.
• Automation & Coding (for mid-to-senior roles): Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C/C++ and test management tools.
