Software Tester

Qualifications:

• Completed training as an IT specialist (application development).
• Entry as a career changer (any other qualification) is possible if there is sufficient
• Experience and interest in software testing.

Expertise:

• Experienced (2+ years) in (agile) test/SW development projects.
• Experience in interactive software testing.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of test management.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of test automation.
• Desirable: University degree (scientific/technical/mathematical) – bachelor’s or
• master’s.
• Nice to have: ISTQB certification CTFL (foundation level) or higher CTAL (advanced level, test analyst).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Task description:

• Verify user stories based on acceptance criteria and existing documentation in Jira
• and Confluence.
• Document findings to allow reproduction of defects.
• Testing is completely interactive and does not rely on test automation frameworks.

Soft skills:

• English: B1+.
• Interest in software quality.
• Have fun finding software bugs.
• Conscientious, structured way of working.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to familiarize with the automotive environment.
• Nice to have: knowledge of German.
